Intel plans to release its Lunar Lake laptop processors in late September, followed by Arrow Lake-S for the desktop in October. Benchlife writes this in response to a message from DigiTimes claiming that Lunar Lake has been delayed.
According to a statement from Intel to Benchlife, the arrival of Lunar Lake has not been postponed. As previously promised, the first systems with these chips will be shipped in the third quarter. Based on the information Benchlife now has, Intel is targeting a release date between September 17 and 24.
Intel is expected to unveil Arrow Lake-S at the Intel Innovation 2024 event, taking place on September 24 September. According to Benchlife, the first CPUs from this product line will be available in October. Tweakers has been told by various sources at the Computex fair that they will be released in the first half of the month.
As usual, the manufacturer would start with the overclockable K-skus and the accompanying Z890 -motherboards. The lower-segment processors and motherboards with a B860 and H810 chipset are not expected until early next year.
