Foreign. Greece is really tired of German and Nordic left-wing activists who go down and “rescue” “refugees” in the Mediterranean. Now Greek police are looking for one of them – the Norwegian people smuggler Tommy Olsen, 51 – via Interpol.

Greece has issued a European arrest warrant against Tommy Olsen who will soon be issued via Interpol.
He thus becomes the first asylum activist who is wanted in this way, writes Dagens ETC.
– I will not be able to go with my family on holiday abroad in year, notes Tommy Olsen in the left-wing newspaper.
Both on Lesbos and Kos, charges have been brought for human smuggling and on Lesbos, Olsen is also accused of espionage. After neglecting to appear for questioning, he is now wanted internationally.
Tommy Olsen tells the left-wing newspaper that he makes a living from his charity work and that his organization ABR has so far raised enough money that he must be able to make a living as an asylum activist. But now it looks dark.
– No one wants to give money to someone who is wanted by Interpol, he notes.
According to Dagens ETC, the 51-year-old now risks having to “take a another job”.
Now Tommy Olsen hopes that Norway will refuse to extradite him with the argument that Greece is not a rule of law. A controversial ruling, then, by the Norwegian court to stop the extradition.
And other countries are still likely to follow the Interpol order and send Olsen to Greece if he is caught abroad, so the 51-year-old will now to stay in Norway for the foreseeable future.
