Domestic. After a long intensive training period, the French amphibious ship FS Mistral moors in Stockholm during the Midsummer weekend.

During the exercise Baltops 24, the ship has, among other things, carried out together with Swedish units from the Stockholm and Älvsborg amphibious regiments.
FS Mistral is a helicopter-carrying amphibious ship with landing capability and, with its 200 meters in length and 32 meters in width, can carry up to 16 NH90-class helicopters and four landing craft . The ship visits Stockholm to rest the crew and replenish supplies.
During exercise Baltops, a high-level visit was carried out on board FS Mistral, where Sweden was an invited guest. The visit offered a demonstration of French capabilities and offered the opportunity for conversation between the two nations.
During the weekend it is not possible to visit the ship on board. If you wish to catch a glimpse of the ship, it can be seen from a distance from the barricades at Frihamnen in Stockholm.
