Domestic. Just over two years after the Koran riots in Sveaparken in Örebro at Easter 2022, the Police Agency and the Public Prosecutor's Office present their results so far. In total, 182 people have been served with suspicion of crimes – and 150 have been convicted.

– Our starting point after the events in Sveaparken was that this should not happen again. Our goal was to prosecute as many as possible, take care of our employees, take advantage of experience and develop our capabilities, all to create security for our citizens and for our employees, says Patrick Ungsäter, head of the Bergslagen police region.
< p>– The prosecution was not only about those who committed crimes being held accountable for their actions, it is about that an attack on the police, freedom of expression and ultimately on democracy is not accepted.
Anders Mullfors is the head of the preliminary investigation on serious crimes in the Örebro County police area and is the person who, during the course of the work, has been responsible for the investigations within the police. – Pictures and above all films have been of great importance to the investigation. We have received a lot of material from citizens who want to help. We would not have come this far without the help we have received from the public's photos and videos, and we are grateful for that, says Anders Mullfors on the police's website.
