The “strawberry” is suspected of fraud with strawberries

Ismail Abdo has business interests in several Swedish companies, including a fruit and berry trading company in Uppsala which last year reported a pre-tax profit of approximately SEK 2.6 million. A 25-year-old man who is close to Abdo is registered as the real principal of this company and also involved in a retail business in Borlänge.

The gang leader's nickname “The Strawberry Man” is said to come from his background in the berry industry.

Ismail Abdo, who waged a high-profile gang war against his former crony “Kurdish Fox”, has spent the last few years abroad, mainly in Turkey. He was recently arrested there, but was quickly released after posting bail. His current whereabouts are unknown.
