After Marine Le Pen's National Rally party made great progress in the European Parliament elections, Macron has chosen to dissolve parliament and hold new elections on June 30 with a second round on July 7.
This step is taken on due to the growing dissatisfaction with the current government.
Le Pen has declared that her party is ready to lead the country and possibly reduce immigration somewhat.
But the more important thing is that if Marine If Le Pen wins the election this summer, a reversal in French support for Ukraine is likely.
Macron wants Ukraine to use Western weapons to attack missile bases on Russian territory and has opened up French troops in Ukraine.

Marine Le Pen, for her part, has warned of the risk that such a measure would lead to World War III. She does not want to give Western weapons to Ukraine and is completely against sending French troops to Ukraine.
