Vaccinated children against corona – being investigated for causing the death of another

Domestic. Prosecutors have opened a preliminary investigation against doctors at Queen Silvia's Children's Hospital and Sahlgrenska University Hospital who vaccinated children against covid-19. This after a boy died from Moderna's vaccine.

The boy died on February 13, 2022, but it was only afterwards that the family understood that the death could have something to do with the vaccination.

Vaccinating children against covid-19 was a controversial measure at the time, as the risks of side effects from the vaccine were obviously lower than the risks of getting covid-19, which rarely led to to serious illness in children.

The family then had a medical evaluation carried out, which led to the Public Prosecutor's Office deciding to open a preliminary investigation into the vaccination.

Chamber prosecutor Helena Treiberg Claeson says that there is preliminary investigation confidentiality and that the decision cannot be commented on further.

According to Aftonbladet, the criminal suspicions concern the prescription of Moderna's covid vaccine, which led to the death of a 13-year-old boy from a heart infection.
