Adesso shows the first separate keyboards with a separate Copilot button

The first separate keyboards with a separate Copilot button seem to be going on sale quickly. Adesso will be showing a number of stand-alone models in different shapes and versions at the Computex.

Tweakers spotted the keyboards on the stand of Adesso, a manufacturer of peripherals that also supplies products in the Netherlands. Adesso also says on its website that it supplies multiple keyboards with a separate Copilot button. Depending on the form factor, it is located at the bottom right or right of the center, next to the right Control button, where on most keyboards there is a Function button or sometimes a Windows button.

Such a separate button is already on many modern laptops, specifically models intended for AI applications. These laptops have SoCs with an NPU, such as the recent Snapdragon X Elite or the new Intel Lunar Lake generation. Laptops with those Socs increasingly have a separate key that users can use to call up the Copilot assistant in Windows 11.

Now, for the first time, separate keyboards also seem to have that button, although it is not certain can be said that Adesso is the first manufacturer with such keyboards. The company has released multiple models in the CyberTouch range, including both standard and mechanical models. There is also an ergonomic model, the EasyTouch 690. It is not yet known when these models will be available in stores and what they will cost.
