The head of International the military staff in NATO, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, participated on Monday in a gender seminar at the Nordic Gender Center (NCGM) at the Armed Forces' international center Swedint.

The meeting was about “the value of gender work in NATO”, writes the Armed Forces on social media and continues:

“The purpose of the seminar is to increase knowledge of how to integrate the gender perspective in operational planning and how it contributes to political, military strategic and operational goals.”

The comments on the Armed Forces' post on X are mocking and angry.

“Please SD and Jimmie Åkesson, DO SOMETHING!!! This is just too sick,” writes a frustrated user.

“Is this a satirical account? Please , please say this is a satirical account,” reads another comment.

Leads NATO's gender work
NCGM, the “Nordic Center for Gender in Military Operations”, is described by the Swedish Armed Forces as “a training and competence center focused on the implementation of a gender perspective at tactical and operational level.”

The center shares training premises with the Swedish Defense International Center Swedint and every year holds a number of English-language courses and seminars in the field of gender.

NCGM has been the “NATO Department Head for Gender” since 2013, i.e. the main responsible for the “gender discipline” within NATO.
