Matte 4k QD OLED monitor from Samsung costs 1299 euros

Samsung on Tuesday announced the suggested retail prices and availability of two matte QD OLED gaming monitors, which were first announced at CES. The G60SD with 27″ WQHD panel costs 899 euros; the 32″ G80SD with 4k resolution will cost 1299 euros.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD and Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 G80SD both have a QD OLED panel from panel manufacturer Samsung Display. Such panels have previously ended up in monitors from other manufacturers. For example, Tweakers already looked at the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM, which, like the Odyssey G80SD, has a 32″ 4k monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. The Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q3, like the Odyssey G60SD, has a 27″ diagonal, 2560×1440 pixels and a 360Hz refreshrate.
