“My Europe is building walls against people exchange “, was the message from Jimmie Åkesson on Monday.

SD has thus officially adopted the concept of population exchange, which the left claims reflects a “far-right conspiracy theory” that the population of the Western world is replaced in their own countries by Third World immigrants.

As expected, various left-wing profiles have come out and accused SD of racism, which apparently made KD leader Ebba Busch feel that she has to mark against the party.

– I think it leads the idea is completely wrong, and I think it shows, once again, that SD is not in a position to take on the value discussion, she tells Expressen.

In a post on X, Ebba Busch develops her reasoning.

“In order to claim that there is a population exchange, you must first define what you mean by that,” she writes and continues:

“People have not been exchanged. But a very big demographic change has taken place and we have to deal with that. The responsibility rests heavily on those who came here to adapt to our values and also traditions. Islam in Iran cannot be practiced in the same way in Sweden. Islam in Sweden cannot work to transform Sweden, e.g. regarding the view of women, sexual minorities or the rights of Jews to name a few things.”

The moderates' party leader Ulf Kristersson tells Expressen that he will not use the word population exchange.
