Swedish Dagbladet has accompanied KD's top name to the European Parliament, Alice Teodorescu Måwe, when she gives a speech to a group of elderly people at a Pentecostal church.
Participating in the campaign is Alf Svensson – who, despite his support for the candidate, finds it difficult to hide his dissatisfaction with the cooperation with the SD.
About the SD's electoral forest, “My Europe is building walls”, he says:
– They pride themselves on shutting out fellow human beings who do everything to make ends meet. I get teary-eyed when I think about it.
Alice Teodorescu Måwe's message about “borders and freedom”, he is obviously not very fond of either.
– I don't want to criticize, but that might not have been my slogan. If you think it's good, you probably understand better than I do, says Alf Svensson to SvD.
He goes on to say that he would “really” “become gloomy” if the Christian democratic parties in Europe “go to the right “. Instead, he wants to see a joint left-liberal block in the EU consisting of social democrats, liberals and Christian democrats.
Alf Svensson was party leader for KD in the years 1973–2004 and has been a warm supporter of people exchange and cultural Marxism.
