Arms order of 7.7 billion from “countries in the Western world”

Domestic. The Wallenberg-owned arms giant Saab has received an order worth SEK 7.7 billion from a “western country”, according to a press release.

The order includes systems and equipment from Saab's business areas Dynamics and Surveillance.

The business includes the prestige project Saab GlobalEye, which is an airborne warning and control system based on conventional aircraft. The system was put into use in 2018.

According to Saab, no further information about the order or the customer will be made public.
