Elon Musk will testify in a case that the US Securities and Exchange Commission has against him regarding the purchase of Twitter, a company that he renamed X.
The interrogation of Musk will last five hours, reports financial news agency Bloomberg. Musk wanted to resist the request to testify, but has given up that resistance, according to court documents.
The case revolves around the purchase of Twitter shares. Musk had purchased 9.1 percent of the shares without reporting it to the SEC. This must be done within ten days of the purchase, if the share of a single shareholder exceeds 5 percent.
