It is Israel's intelligence service Mossad that claims that Iran cooperates with the criminal networks Rumba and Foxtrot and their respective leaders Rawa “Kurdish Fox” Majid and Ismail “Snowman” Abdo.
According to the Mossad, Foxtrot was behind the throwing of a spiked hand grenade over the fence to Israel embassy in Stockholm in January. The Rumba network is said to have been responsible for the suspected shooting outside the embassy in May.
Säpo has confirmed that Iran cooperates with criminal networks in Sweden, but without naming any specific networks.
Iran however denies the information. On its website, the Iranian embassy writes that the news is “false and propagandistic” and fabricated by the Mossad.
“At a time when the crimes, the inhuman behavior, the genocide and the terrible and shameful actions of the child-killing Israeli regime against the innocent Palestinian people have shocked the whole world and hurt the hearts of all free people, unfortunately some Swedish media have published false and fabricated statements against the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the brutal Israeli regime's false and baseless claims,” writes the embassy.
