Foreign. Tensions are increasing between the anti-immigration parties in Europe. Alternative for Germany (AFD) is now criticizing Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for having greatly increased immigration to Italy and supporting the war in Ukraine.
– This melonization will not affect us, says AFD party leader Tino Chrupalla.

Tino Chrupalla delivered the broadside to Meloni during the AFD's Saxony party conference, reports Remix News.
– We will not bow down to anyone. Our political positions are correct and have currently brought us to second place in the opinion polls in Germany. We will not bend in favor of European positions just because we become more attractive to some, said Chrupalla.
He continued:
– We see this in Italy. Immigration has actually doubled there under Prime Minister Meloni. Open borders instead of blockades. Meloni is also for more weapons in the Ukraine war and for confrontation with Russia instead of peace and diplomacy for Europe. I want to make it clear that this melonization will not affect us.
– For us, German interests always come first.
The sharp criticism of Meloni, who leads the party Brothers of Italy, comes after AFD was excluded from the Identity and Democracy (ID) group in the EU Parliament. Marine Le Pen of France's National Assembly pushed for the exclusion after AFD member Maximilian Krah commented that not all soldiers who served in the Waffen-SS were necessarily war criminals.
This action just before the EU parliamentary elections has been criticized for to be a betrayal of a European partner, and an attempt to improve his own party's image in the eyes of the French public.
Now there are rumors that Le Pen is preparing to form a new group together with Meloni , or to join Meloni's group ECR where the Sweden Democrats also sit, writes Remix News.
