HYTE introduces its Thicc Q80 Trio water cooler. This is based on the existing Thicc Q60 cooler, but has a larger 360mm radiator. The cooler again has a screen on top of the CPU cooling block. A cheaper 240mm water cooler is also coming.
HYTE provides the Thicc Q80 Trio with a radiator with a thickness of 52mm, the manufacturer confirms in a press release. The cooler also has new included Thicc FP12 Trio fans. Instead of three separate 120mm fans, the fans in the FP12 Trio are integrated into a single frame. HYTE further claims that the cold plate used has a higher fin coverage. This would reduce CPU temperatures 'up to 2 degrees Celsius more', although the manufacturer does not substantiate this with a concrete test method.
The Thicc Q60 Trio also has a 5″ IPS screen, just like the previous Thicc Q60. This screen integrates with HYTE's Nexus software and can be used, among other things, to display system information or your own video images. There are RGB LEDs on the back of the screen, which can also be controlled via the HYTE Nexus software.
Furthermore, HYTE is showing a new 240mm water cooler. This Thicc P60 Duo does not have an IPS screen and will therefore be cheaper than the Q60. This cooler comes with two included 120mm fans, which are again integrated into a single frame. The cooling block is equipped with several RGB LEDs. The mentioned fan frames will also be available separately, in both 240mm and 360mm variants in black and white.
HYTE expects to launch the Thicc Q80 Trio in August, followed by the Thicc P60 Duo in September. The FP120 Duo and Trio fans will also be released in August. The manufacturer has not yet shared any concrete recommended prices.
