Suspected bag killer is hiding abroad

On March 10, a 35-year-old man was found dead in a bag in a wooded area next to road 222 Värmdöleden. Several suspected perpetrators subsequently fled the country.

A few days ago, a woman who had been detained in absentia for the murder was arrested. She was arrested in Elk Grove in California in the USA in a collaboration between Swedish and American police.

Her husband Farid Vaziri is still at large. He is judged to be using another identity and is internationally wanted on suspicion of murder. He has been observed in the same area of ​​Elk Grove where the woman was arrested and where parts of her family live.

Police are now asking for the public's help in locating Farid Vaziri so he can be arrested. Call 114 14 if you have any information to give.

A man who was previously detained in his absence, has been arrested and is in custody in California, USA. An extradition process is underway.

When the woman was arrested in Elk Grove, her sister was simultaneously detained in an American immigration case. Work is underway to also be able to hear the sister as a suspect in the Värmdömordet.

Furthermore, a man who is suspected of murder and violation of grave peace has already been detained and deprived of his liberty in Sweden.
