Renders have appeared of the as yet unannounced Moto G85 smartphone from Lenovo subsidiary Motorola. Compared to the current G84, it is noticeable that the phone has curved screen edges.
The G85 has thinner screen edges than the G84, as can be seen in the renders by EvLeaks, a pseudonym of telecom journalist Evan Blass. There are two cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel camera with a sensor area of approximately forty square millimeters. The function of the second camera is unknown. The G84 has a camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens; that is also the most obvious choice for the successor.
According to previous rumors, the G85 will soon be released with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That configuration would cost around 300 euros in Europe, reports GSMArena. Lenovo would like to present the phone soon.
