Messages about your Neighborhood is an email service from the Dutch government. Registered Dutch people can stay informed of announcements about their immediate living environment via these emails. Every Dutch person who is 25 years or older, lives in the country and has a MijnOverheid account with a verified email address, automatically receives emails from Messages about your Neighborhood.

Citizens can indicate via MijnOverheid how many emails they want to receive and how large the living environment of the announcements should be. Subscribers can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails or by indicating this option on the MijnOverheid website.
