Domestic. The police have detained a large number of Palestine demonstrators at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. One of those removed was Greta Thunberg.

The police were alerted after 12 o'clock on Wednesday that people were behaving in a disorderly manner at KTH.

The demonstration took place outdoors in connection with the Christian Democrats' party leader, Minister of Economy Ebba Busch, visiting the university and having a meeting in one of the buildings next door.

According to the police, the people gaped and shouted and disrupted a speech.

Several police patrols intervened – 15-20 people are detained and removed from the scene after checking. Three people have been arrested.

Greta Thunberg was removed for disturbing public order, and was caught on film when she was dragged away by the police.

Currently, the police are working based on the classifications of disturbing public order, disobedience to law enforcement, vandalism, unlicensed public assembly and violation of the masking ban.

According to the police, the unauthorized assembly may continue if the participants do not behave disorderly or violate the masking ban.

– They are afraid of being suspended from the university or other consequences for protesting the war, one of the demonstrators tells SVT Nyheter about why they wear masks.

SVT's reporters on the spot state that the atmosphere was turbulent and that the police, among other things, used dogs against the demonstrators.
