“Strawberry” arrested in Turkey – released on bail

Domestic. Gang leader Ismail “Strawberry” Abdo was arrested in Turkey – but later released on bail, according to Turkish media.

Ismail Abdo is known for to have been the right-hand man of Rawa “Kurdish Fox” Majid in the criminal network Foxtrot. After they became enemies, a bloody wave of violence erupted that still plagues Sweden.

Abdo is already internationally wanted by Interpol.

According to Turkish media, he was arrested when the police stopped a suspicious car in Adana , near the border with Syria. Ismail Abdo had a protective vest and a weapon at the time of the arrest. He was later released on a bail of 20,000 Turkish lira, which is equivalent to about 6,600 kroner, according to the newspaper Milliyet.

The police also seized an unlicensed pistol and twelve bullets, reports Sabah.
