Malmö now as dangerous as Baghdad

Domestic. Malmö is in the top 100 in a compilation of the world's most dangerous cities, reports Expressen.

The list is topped by Venezuela's capital Caracas, which has called “the world's most violent city” by Business Insider.

Caracas is followed by three cities in South Africa – Pretoria, Durban and Johannesburg.

Malmö comes in at number 76 on the list, which can be compared to Baghdad, Iraq (74), Tehran, Iran (77) and Karachi, Pakistan (78).

Gothenburg ends up in place 154 and Stockholm in place 157. In the rest of the Nordic countries, you have to go down to place 297 for to meet Copenhagen again.

However, Malmö is not considered the most dangerous in Europe. This is done by French Marseille, which ends up in 40th place.
