CCleaner 6.24

Piriform has released version 6.24 of CCleaner. This program can clean up various parts of Windows. This includes temporary Windows and Internet files, but also unnecessary junk from a large number of other programs, including Windows Media Player, Google Toolbar, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, WinRAR and so on. In addition, the number of programs that CCleaner can clean up the clutter can easily be expanded with the CCEnhancer program.

In addition to cleaning up, CCleaner can also fix errors in the registry and in shortcuts, and the list of programs that start with Customize Windows, and it is possible to manage cookies. From this version onwards, the overall condition of the computer can also be tested. In addition to a free version, there is also a pro version, which offers, among other things, an automatic update function. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• We've included Software Updater in the main navigation for easier access to updating your apps with the latest features, bug fixes, and security patches.
• Now, you' ll be able to find Registry Cleaning under the Tools section.
• We've revamped the Health Check results screen to display identified issues and their details more clearly.
