Lenovo has announced two laptops powered by Qualcomm's Arm-based Snapdragon The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 will be available from June this year. Both laptops have twelve Oryon cores from Qualcomm, an integrated Adreno GPU and a Hexagon GPU with 45 Tops of AI. computing power, Lenovo says in a press release. The Yoga Slim 7x offers up to 32GB of memory and the business-oriented ThinkPad comes with up to 64GB of memory. Both laptops are equipped with an M.2 SSD of up to 1TB.
The Yoga Slim has a 14.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2944×1840 pixels. The screen has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz and a maximum peak brightness of 1000cd/m². With the ThinkPad, users can choose from three 14” screens: an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a maximum brightness of 400cd/m², a touchscreen variant or a '2.8k' OLED screen that supports the full DCI-P3 can display color range. This OLED screen also has a maximum brightness of 400cd/m².
In addition, the Yoga Slim has three USB-C connections and the laptop supports DisplayPort 1.4. The ThinkPad has two USB-A and two USB-C connections, an HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Both laptops also have a 1080p IR webcam, supporting the Windows Hello facial recognition system. According to Lenovo, the laptops also both have batteries that last 'several days', although the manufacturer does not say how many actual hours of use this concerns. The Yoga Slim has a 70Wh battery, the ThinkPad has a 58Wh battery.
The laptops run Windows 11 and are part of Microsoft's new Copilot+ PC program. This gives them access to new AI features in the OS. According to Lenovo, users can also access LLMs when the laptops do not have an internet connection. Both laptops will be available from June this year. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x with 16GB memory and 1TB storage will cost 1499 euros. The version with 32GB memory and 1TB storage costs 1649 euros, while the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s starts at 1769 euros.
