Domestic. The Liberals' Simona Mohamsson believes that Sweden should consider sending ground troops to Ukraine.

Simona Mohamsson, who is the Liberals' third name before the EU elections, tells Svenska Dagbladet that it is “time for us democracies to act like heroes”.
– There must also be parties that are prepared to do everything. This means that the EU may also have to send “boots on the ground”, to go “all in”, she says.
The liberal proposes that troops are primarily placed in western Ukraine as a deterrent, while they can contribute with training and relief. She does not rule out that the troops may later need to be sent to the front line, depending on the development of the situation and Ukraine's needs.
Simona Mohamsson prefers that the troops be sent within the framework of EU cooperation, where the Union's military battle groups could be mobilized. Alternatively, troops can be sent by a coalition of member states outside the EU framework.
