From now on, X redirects visitors from the twitter.com domain to x.com

X will now redirect visitors from the twitter.com homepage to x.com. This does cause problems for some Firefox users.

Users who go to twitter.com will now be redirected to x.com. The social network warns about this with an information bar at the bottom, which also sends users directly to the privacy policy.

The step is one of many in changing Twitter's name, which was introduced when Elon Musk took over the company. Twitter said in July last year that it would change its name to Users of Firefox in particular complain that they have problems refreshing the site or logging in. This appears to be due to the browser's Enhanced Tracking Protection, but this has not been confirmed.
