The open-world game Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in the fall of 2025. It was already known that the game would be released next year, but no release window was mentioned yet. Publisher Take Two Interactive has not yet given a specific date.
Take Two Interactive announced the release period when sharing its quarterly results on Thursday. “We expect net bookings of $5.55 billion to $5.65 billion in 2025. Our positive expectations allow us to narrow Grand Theft Auto VI's previously established release window from 2025 to Fall 2025,” the publisher wrote in a statement.
Grand Theft Auto VI was announced in December. The trailer was viewed more than 90 million times in one day, which is a world record for a game trailer. The game will be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S Developer Rockstar Games has not yet said anything about a PC version.
