Last year, the Security Police raised the terror threat level from a three to a four. One of the reasons was the so-called LVU campaign, where anonymous accounts and websites spread information that the social service kidnaps Muslim children.
– Now we must get clarity on exactly how involved the Sweden Democrats were in the campaign that directly threatens our country's security, says Muharrem Demirok.
According to the Center Party, it appears in the attention-grabbing review of SD in TV4's “Cold facts” that the party has registered websites that are discussed as being able to be used to spread just such information.
Muharrem Demirok states that they will therefore call the general directors for the Security Police, the Police Authority, MSB and the Agency for Psychological Defense to the Justice Committee to report on the information they have about SD's possible involvement in the LVU campaign. C wants SD to be excluded from these meetings as well as the authorities' transparency advice while the investigation is ongoing.
– When we have had conversations about disinformation, there has been a Trojan horse in the room. After the meetings, the Sweden Democrats went straight home and urged their online warriors to continue the work in the troll factory, says Muharrem Demirok.
The Center Party also demands a ban on party support being used to finance activities that “pose a threat to the national security or undermines the democratic order”.
