Google will add video as input to its search engine. Until now, the search engine could only handle text, audio and images. There will also be AI Overviews with answers to complex questions.
This makes it possible to make a video of, for example, a malfunctioning device with the question 'why does this work? not', after which the search engine looks up the brand and type of the device and provides answers as to why it is not working.
The AI Overviews in the search engine, which will initially only be available in the US, provide a dynamic page with results and source links. As a result, Google wants to 'do the Googling for you', the company says. This will be released later in more countries.
