Malmö: Tens of thousands in protest against Israel

Domestic. A large number of people have participated in demonstrations for Palestine in Malmö on Thursday evening.

A march that went from Stortorget to Mölleplatsen gathered according to the police 10–12,000 participants.

Nine people have been taken into police custody and one person has been arrested on suspicion of a serious crime against the Knife Act.

There have also been demonstrations elsewhere in Malmö due to Israel's participation in Eurovision.

No serious incidents have been reported.
