X comes with AI-generated summaries of posts on trending topics

X added a feature that summarizes trending topics based on user posts. The chatbot Grok from Elon Musk's AI company xAI is used for this. The feature is currently available for Premium users in the US.

On the 'For You' page, paying users can now see columns with topics that are trending on the platform, the social medium writes. If they click on it, they can read in an AI-generated summary why the topic concerns them. AI bot Grok uses user posts on these topics to generate the summaries. Below the summary, article text.
