Windows Terminal 1.19.11213.0

Microsoft has released an update for version 1.19 of Windows Terminal. Windows Terminal is included with Windows 11 and allows you to open a command prompt, PowerShell, Windows PowerShell and Azure Cloud Shell in a tabbed screen. The program has support for themes and profiles. New features in version 1.19 include a search function, themes are now respected under Windows 11, and the new rendering engine is now set as default. The following changes and improvements have also been made in this update:

This is probably the last servicing release for 1.19 before Stable moves on to 1.20.

Changes

  • Terminal now comes with Cascadia Code 2404.23, which has a couple hundred new glyphs! (#17137)
  • We've moved to the latest Azure Cloud Shell API version to prevent it from breaking on you (#17115)

Bug Fixes

  • Hidden cursors will no longer sometimes reappear unexpectedly (#17148)
  • Maximizing a minimized window will no longer move your viewport around mysteriously (#17058)
  • We 've fixed a number of UI style errors in menu item capitalization and our use of ellipses (…) (#16886)
