Domestic. The Center Party's party leader Muharrem Demirok criticizes Jimmie Åkesson for ignoring Swedish farmers when he gives a speech in “hip south in Stockholm”. But in the C leader's own rural picture, Kaknästornet is visible in the background.

“Today Jimmie Åkesson will speak. He will do it in the hip south, in Stockholm . Will he even mention farmers”, writes Muharrem Demirok on X in a message addressed to the SD leader Mattias Karlsson.
The C leader can be seen posing next to a straw bale and a tractor with a hay trailer – with the capital's television – tower Kaknästornet sticking out in the background.
Demirok is now criticized in social media for having tried to “lax” sparsely populated areas in his post, despite the fact that the C leader actually writes that he is in nearby Gärdet.
The post was part of a longer exchange of words between Muharrem Demirok and Mattias Karlsson, who, like Demirok, likes to present himself as a resident of sparsely populated areas, even though he has long been a professional politician living full-time in Stockholm.
Expressen profile Viktor Barth-Kron calls on the two professional politicians to put down the farmer-life on Twitter.
“Drop this now, both of you. None of you are farmers. It's ok, the vast majority of Swedes are not farmers either. Now we move on,” he writes.
