Apple Maps will receive support for cycling routes in the Netherlands

Apple Maps will receive support for cycling routes in the Netherlands from Friday. This works from iOS 14.

Apple writes in a press release that Apple Maps will now receive 'detailed, step-by-step cycling directions for routes on cycle paths, cycle lanes and cycle-friendly roads'. The app now also contains altitude data, notifications when users need to get off, voice guidance and warnings for busy routes.

The function will be available from Friday. That works on iOS 14 or higher. Such a feature had already existed in Belgium since March of this year.
