Cultural news. It will not be allowed to bring Palestinian flags into the Eurovision arena in Malmö, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

Only national flags from the countries participating in the music festival will be allowed inside the arena according to the EBU, which is responsible for the event.
Visitors trying to bring other flags or signs with political messages will be blocked at the entrance, GP writes.< /p>
However, there is an exception – the pride flag, which is allowed provided it is used for “non-political” purposes.
Neither the EBU, SVT nor representatives of Malmö arena have responded to requests to comment on the flag policy , according to GP.
Eurovision has been the subject of considerable debate due to Israel's participation. Several demonstrations are to take place in connection with the event and it is generally expected to be rowdy.
