Nick Fuentes is one of the right wing profiles that has remained suspended from X after Elon Musk took over the platform.

The 25-year-old political commentator is considered particularly dangerous as he has played an important role in radicalizing the conservative environment in the United States in recent years. This is not least after October 7, when Fuentes focused on questioning US support for Israel.

Elon Musk has previously not commented on the issue of Nick Fuentes' account and why it has continued to be blocked despite the promises of freedom of speech.

The reversal came after one user accused Elon Musk of “working for the Jews”. To this the X owner replied that he is “openly anti-Semitic”.

While I don't condone all the actions of any one group, I must admit to being openly philosemitic, and generally try to see the good in all people

Another user then urged Musk to unblock Fuentes. Musk responds that he's giving in and letting Nick Fuentes come back to the platform, only to be “crushed” by the comments and fact-checking.

It's better to let that be “out in the open where it can be refuted than let it simmer in the dark,” writes Elon Musk.

Very well, he will be reinstated, provided he does not violate the law, and let him be crushed by the comments and Community Notes.

It is better to have anti whatever out in the open to be rebutted than grow simmering in the darkness.
