Microsoft has confirmed that a recent security update for Windows may be causing issues with VPN connections. The American company says it is working on a solution. It is not clear when this will be available.
Microsoft writes in a blog post that the problems may occur after installing the Windows security update of April 2024, called KB5036893. It was rolled out on April 9. The problems reportedly occur not only on systems with Windows 11, but also on systems with Windows 10. According to The Register, there are still problems with KB5036893. Since this update, it is no longer possible for some users to change the profile photo of an account.
