From August, the Dutch provider Ziggo will offer the opportunity to watch European football for free via the existing Ziggo Go app. For this purpose, a Ziggo Sport Free account will be added to the app.
This concerns matches of participating Dutch clubs and the finals. The provider does not specify whether it concerns men's football, women's football or both. Usually, when spelling without addition, companies mean the men's competitions of football. There are also short previews and afterthoughts, reports Ziggo. It is not necessary to be a customer of the provider.
The company has the broadcasting rights for European football competitions for three years, which allows it to offer this service. The service can be used from next season, the provider says.
