The Arc Browser for Windows has been released after a months-long beta period. The browser has been available for download for macOS for some time now. The browser is based on Chromium, but has a different interface.

Arc is only available for Windows 11 systems on x64 processors, The Browser Company said. A Windows 10 version will follow later and it is not yet known whether a version for ARM processors will also be released.

The browser is distinguished by its different interface. Instead of a tabbed bar, there's a sidebar that combines tabs and favorites and organizes them into folders. The URL bar replaces Arc with a 'command line' in the middle of the screen for entering searches and URLs. In addition, it can, among other things, place tabs next to each other in split screen. The organization can also be synchronized between different machines. The download for Windows 11 is on the browser's site.
