The party leaders' speech on May Day was, as expected, about the great event of the century , i.e. the disruption of the meeting in Gubbängen last week.

S leader Magdalena Andersson, who paid extensive attention to Gubbängen, stated, among other things, that the mistreatment of the left-wing extremist is an existential issue for the entire country and its democratic state.

– It is an existential question, Andersson said, and added:

– Now it is our task to defend our democracy and our way of life.

Andersson also said that Sweden needs to be strengthened in the face of further national crises that may come in the future.

– We must show that there is an alternative, where we support each other in tough times, she said.
