Domestic. The government announces on its website that it is “gathering strength” after AFA founder Mathias Wåg was beaten at a left-wing extremist meeting in Gubbängen.

On, Minister of Education Mats Persson and Minister of Schools Lotta Edholm are gathering actors who work against and research into right-wing extremism “for a high-level round table discussion (sic!) on the occasion of the crime in Gubbängen”.

This is announced by the government on its website.

“The aim is to get an overall picture of what the state of research says about how we can best counter the rise of extremism in Sweden and how the education system can be strengthened in this work”, writes the government.

In connection with the call there will be a press briefing.
