It was on Wednesday that the Green Party, AFA, the Left Party and Expo had gathered in Gubbängen when a number of masked men entered the premises and sprayed red paint on the visitors.

AFA founder Mattias Våg was subjected to a light assault during the attack, according to himself.

When the troublemakers left the place, the participants continued the meeting.

After the incident, Expo claimed without presenting any evidence that it was “Nazis” who attacked them, but the police do not think so confirm.

“It is not the police's role in society and could become very sensitive if we did so,” writes police spokesperson Ola Österling to Expressen.

Stockholm police's “group against crime threatening democracy ” has now been connected to solve the case, and the police are looking for witness information from the area.

”It then concerns observations from the Gubbäng area during Wednesday afternoon and evening. Deviating behavior and observations about vehicles are prioritized,” the authority writes in a dispatch.
