Mark Zuckerberg, explaining Meta's most recent quarterly figures, states that the social platform Threads has more than 150 million active users worldwide.
Threads is performing according to the company's CEO as expected. The X alternative had 100 million users within the first few days of release, but Meta's service was initially not available in Europe. In December 2023, the social medium was also released in the EU. A few weeks later, the platform had more than 800,000 users in the Netherlands.
