Domestic. A 37-year-old man, a citizen of a North African country, has been detained on suspicion of the high-profile double murder of two children in Södertälje.

On Tuesday evening two children, a girl and a boy under the age of ten, were found dead in a home in the Lina hage district in Södertälje.
Initially, both a man and a woman were arrested for the double murder. However, the woman has been released and is no longer a suspect.
On Friday, Södertälje district court decided to remand the man.
According to the prosecutor, there is, among other things, a risk that the 37-year-old suspect will continue his criminal activities business if he is released.
The man, who is being held in a psychiatric ward, will undergo a small mental examination.
