Google makes it possible to take notes during presentations in Meet. Users can use various pen tools, as well as stickers, lines, shapes, text boxes and sticky notes. The feature is currently rolling out to Workspace users.

The annotation feature is enabled by default when starting a Google Meet presentation. A new menu with settings and tools for annotations will now appear at the bottom right. Users can add other users as annotators, allowing the presenter to speak while someone else takes notes.

Currently, iPhone users can't annotate in Meet unless the user is designated as a co-annotator. The feature is available for Android users, although coannotation is not yet supported. Google started rolling out the feature last week. It may take several weeks before the feature is available to all Workspace users.
