A survey from the European Coalition 4 Israel places SD in third place among the most Israel-friendly parties in the EU Parliament.
Only the Spanish party Vox and the Citizen Democrats from the Czech Republic are more loyal to the controversial Middle Eastern state.

The government of Israel has decided that SD is a Nazi party that you should have nothing to do with at all. Representatives of Israel are not even allowed to stay in the same room as SD politicians.
Charlie Weimers and Richard Jomshof visited Israel together last year under great secrecy. After that trip, the two top politicians have been especially pro-Israel in their communication, displaying a lot of Israeli flags and the like – not least during the ongoing war in Gaza with 34,000 Palestinians killed, most of them women and children.
