Researchers spoke out about IQ differences – kicked out of Cambridge

Fria Tider reported in February that the Cambridge researcher and philosopher Nathan Cofnas was accused of being racist by both students and faculty members after writing about IQ differences in a blog post.

He noted, among other things, that if strict meritocracy were applied, blacks would effectively only be known in sports and entertainment – and at elite universities, the number of black employees would be “approaching 0 percent”.

These are controversial views but correct as they are based on calculations based on average IQ levels among blacks.

Varsity, Cambridge's student newspaper, is now reporting that Emmanuel College at the University of Cambridge, in a letter dated April 5, informed Nathan Cofnas that it had chosen to terminate its relationship with him. This comes after accusations of racism poured in from both staff and students at the prestigious institution, reports the Telegraph.

The letter states that the blog post is interpreted as “a rejection of the diversity, equality and inclusion policy” and a direct challenge of value base.

In his attention-grabbing post, Cofnas wrote, among other things, that the percentage of black students at Harvard University would drop to only 0.7 percent if only academic merits were taken into account in admissions. This at the same time as blacks make up 14 percent of the total population in the United States.

In a meritocracy, blacks would “disappear from almost all high-profile positions apart from sports and entertainment,” Cofnas further noted.

In the post, the philosopher stated that the Western establishment must lift the taboo that intellectual abilities are genetically determined and hereditary.

“We must stop the war on nature, accept that talent is not distributed equally within or between groups, and allow people to succeed on their merits.”

That blacks have significantly lower IQ than whites is a very well-established fact confirmed for decades by countless studies in intelligence research. Despite that, there is a strong taboo on the issue as the political ideologies that dominate in the Western world wrongly assume that everyone is born with the same conditions.

“It is a statistical inevitability that blacks – if the selection is color blind – will constitute a small fraction of people in positions that rely heavily on general intelligence,” Cofnas wrote in his post.
