Developer ConcernedApe released a patch for Stardew Valley on Thursday. The patch, which updates the version of the game to version 1.6.4, adds 40 new layouts for two mining locations in the game.

The patch notes on Steam explain what exactly ConcernedApe has added and amended. The player can obtain twenty new layouts for the mine north of Pelican Town upon reaching the final floor. The other half of the new layouts can be found at the volcano mine on Ginger Island. These appear once the player has cleared the shortcut between the volcano entrance and the crater. Furthermore, ConcernedApe has implemented some balance changes. For example, an Energy Tonic no longer ensures that the player receives hit points in addition to energy and the chance of finding a mystery box has become smaller.

Last month, version 1.6 of Stardew Valley became available for Windows , macOS and Linux. The update added a lot of new game content, including new festivals, new items, and a new farm type. The PC version of the game also supports eight-player multiplayer.
