Dragon's Dogma 2 patch does not yet include a fix for performance issues on PC

Capcom will release a patch for its RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 this month. The changes are mainly focused on elements in the gameplay. However, there is no solution yet for the performance problems that are common with the PC version.

On social media platform X, Capcom shares a brief overview of all planned changes. One of the major changes included in the patch is the reduction of dragonsplague infestation on Pawns, the NPCs the player brings with them. It also becomes clearer that a Pawn is infected by making the eyes glow more clearly. Furthermore, Pawns' behavior is adjusted in certain areas. This means they have to fall off a cliff less quickly and have to repeat less dialogue.

The most requested adjustment, namely a solution to the performance problems in the PC version, is not included in the patch. The problems have been around since the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 on March 21. It is not yet known when Capcom will come up with a solution. Tweakers published a review of Dragon's Dogma 2 at the beginning of April.
